We came across Rob's Machine shop several months ago when we needed to have the new AFR 165 Comp heads flow tested. Our usual flowbench partner was out of town and we needed to find a SuperFlow bench in short order. Rob's came through and accommodated us without hesitation. Rob Jr. from Rob's Auto Machine in Hayward, CA get' the new AFR 165cc head mounted on the flow bench. Heads were flowed at a standard pressure of 28" H20, using a 4.030" bore fixture.

Engines undergoing the rebuild process, begins in the disassembly area. Parts are thoroughly cleaned using a hot tank- some parts using a Ultra-Sonic cleaner. Engine parts are reconditioned back to OEM specifications, and then they are combined with new parts in the assembly area. The rebuilt engine is painted and ready for you to pick up.

This mustang is the project of Rob Sr. This engine bay will boast a stroker Ford small block. Topped off with a Fuel Injected - Gi-Normous Turbo. This combination is expected to near 2000HP.

Owned by Rob Jr, this Mustang is an All-Motor-Beast.
The “old” engine combo saw an respectable 390HP running 10.7 in a 1/4mi.
Out with the old, in with the new… This recent combo was sent to the dyno shop next door. A few pulls on their [Mustang MD] dyno, we saw the horsepower climb to an impressive 430 HP at the rear wheels without the aid of NOS or Forced Induction. Additionally impressive, this Mustang is a daily driver!

During the build I went down to Rob's Auto Machine shop in Hayward to check out the machine work that was being done to the block. Rob went all out and so far the block looks amazing!
